In the early morning hours of October 31, 2019, our community woke up to the devastating news of our church engulfed in flames. The fire department was on the scene in no time and able to keep the fire from damaging the surrounding properties. However, our hearts are heavy in announcing the loss of our beautiful building. The Good Shepherd has called this building its home for the past 20 years, where countless memories have been made, generations have been raised, and souls have been won for the kingdom. While our building is no more, we are filled with hope and faith, and press on to continue our mission of preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. Thank you to the City of Whittier, our Fire Department and Police Department and our surrounding church community for the gracious support and prayers. We will be meeting on Sunday afternoons at 2:00 p.m. at Regency Christian Center International, 7038 Pickering Ave, Whittier, CA 90602. And our mid-week services and choir practices will be held at House of Grace, 12222 Philadelphia Street, Whittier, CA 90601. Please continue to keep us in your hearts and prayers.
